Van Trier is one of the oldest family businesses in the Netherlands, constantly passed from father to son. The company was founded in 1746 as a blacksmith in the small town of De Heen and now operates in 30,000m² premises in Tholen. In 1996, H.M. the Queen authorized Van Trier to carry the Royal Coat of Arms as well as the title "Supplier to the Royal Household" due to its long history. The current owner, Gijs van Trier, is the ninth generation in the company. Through all the generations Van Trier has been able to develop and innovate into the modern conveyor belt rental company of today. Today Van Trier rents out 2000 conveyor belts, store loaders, reiving hoppers, dosing bunkers and the like per year all over the world.
